GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has a new rescue boat that was donated by Firehouse Subs.
According to deputies, the donation came from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation which has donated over $20 million to first responders across the country. The company says it strives to keep first responders equipped with the most up-to-date tools to keep communities safe.
The boat will be used by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Technical Rescue and Recovery Team. The boat will also support the county’s Emergency Response Team/Rescue Division and will provide aid to surrounding counties.
