Police increase patrols in Converse Heights neighborhood after attempted break-ins

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — Police are investigating several attempted break-ins over the past few days in the Converse Heights neighborhood.

Suspects ring the doorbells to see if someone is home before trying to break in.

People are asked to call the Spartanburg Police Department if they see or hear anything suspicious and know who’s at their door before opening it.

Police say they are doing extra patrols in the neighborhood.
