SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA)–Several pop-up concerts are planned in Spartanburg Tuesday as part of a worldwide effort to celebrate the work of Johann Sebastian Bach.
According to Converse College, “Bach in the Subways,” or “BiTS” for short, encourages pop-up concerts in public spaces all over cities. It’s in honor of Bach’s birthday. Converse faculty and students are participating by popping up on campus, at Hub City Book Shop, at Cleveland Park and Hub City Tap House.
