GREER, SC (WSPA) – Five students were suspended after a girl was hit in the head with a bottle during two fights at Riverside High School.

Those students have been charged, according to Greer Police.

Witnesses told police the fight started over a boy walking with a girl to class.

Students told police that Breann Lillian Gaylord and a boy were walking together to class.

Alisha Sarrose Freeman then went and told the boy’s ex-girlfriend that she saw this.

On 3/20 Freeman confronted Gaylord and asked her if she wanted to fight, say police.

The report says Gaylord asked why and Freeman told her it was because she walked with her friend’s ex on Friday.

Freeman then hit Gaylord, according to the warrant.

The warrant says Gaylord responded by hitting Freeman in the head with a glass bottle.

At this point A’maya Davis jumped in and hit Gaylord, according to police.
