SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A North Carolina man was killed in a crash on Interstate 85.
The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 39-year-old Brian Jacob Livingston of Pineville, N.C.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday at mile marker 81.
Troopers say Livingston was traveling northbound when he ran off the Interstate and hit multiple trees.
Authorities say he died at the scene from his injuries.
Traffic was backed up for several hours due to the crash.
The coroner said autopsy and toxicology results are pending.
