Suspected Motorcycle thief found hiding in playhouse say Greenville Police

GREENVILLE (WSPA) – Greenville Police arrested a man Wednesday who they say stole a motorcycle and was found hiding in a playhouse after a foot chase.

William Bonilla, Junior, 26, facing a number of charges including possession of a stolen vehicle and DUI from Greenville Police. We’re told he stole a motorcycle off Woodruff Road.

A car chased Bonilla to Farrell Kirk Lane where he ditched the motorcycle and ran away. Greenville Police brought in K9 officers to try and find the suspect.

One officer with K9 Officer Valor tracked the suspect through a four-foot deep creek and some woods according to the GPD Facebook page. Bonilla was arrested after he was found hiding in a playhouse.

Bonilla is being held in the Greenville County Detention Center on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle, driving under the influence, unlawful carry of a firearm, failure to stop for blue lights, driving in a temporary work zone, reckless driving, malicious damage and possession of drug paraphernalia.
