Woodruff Rd. just east of the Garlington Rd. intersection will be down to one lane in both directions on April 1 and April 2, according to SCDOT
It is scheduled to last between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
They say a 15 minute traffic closure will be required at some point on Saturday.
New railroad track is being installed.
They say the work will help future upgrades to Woodruff Road planned for 2018 / 2019.
SCDOT wants you to consider alternate routes and expect traffic congestion.
