Hometown Spotlight: Greer

WSPA 7 News traveled to Greer for another segment of Hometown Spotlight.

City leaders in Greer said the city is growing exponentially with every store front on Trade Street full.

Greer Development Group Director Kyle Mensing said it’s the first time in more than ten years that’s happened along with increased business coming in from B<W and the Inland Port.

Greer made is also a stamp being put on anything made in Greer from bow ties to bourbon.

Coming in up in Greer is Family Fest in May and golf tournaments for Greer Community Ministries. Greer Relief will also be looking for support as they serve those in the Greer community who need, food, shelter and help with employment.
