UNION CO., S.C. (WSPA) – One man is hurt and another man has been charged with felony DUI after a crash that happened on Highway 176, near Sprouse Road, according to S.C. Highway Patrol.
The accident happened just before noon on Monday.
A 68-year-old man was injured in the crash, according to Highway Patrol.
Troopers say 31-year-old Justin Lawson has been charged with felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury, improper license, and uninsured motorist.
They say the 68-year-old man was traveling north on Highway 176 when Lawson disregarded a stop sign and ran into him.
Both drivers were taken by EMS to Spartanburg Regional.
Highway 176 was blocked for a while after the crash.
