2 shot at Norris Ridge Apartments, police say

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) — Two people were shot at an apartment complex in Spartanburg.

Police say the shootings happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Norris Ridge Apartments.

The victims were taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

We’re told their injuries did not appear to be life threatening.

A witness told police they heard about 10 gunshots and came outside to see a man with a gun wearing all black with red hair running away.

A woman said their apartment had three bullet holes.

A woman in different apartment said a bullet went through her front door, a wall and fell into the bathtub. She says a bullet also went through her child’s bedroom.

Another woman said a bullet went through her front door, a bowl and a wall.

The report says there were several young males outside an apartment before the shooting and a silver car driving by on the bottom line of Norris Ridge shooting.

People at the apartments told investigators there has been a lot of gang activity at the location involving juveniles.
