GREENVILLE Co., SC (WSPA) – Bond was denied for a man accused of running from a traffic stop on Tuesday.

Kameron Markel Latimore, 18, has been charged with resisting arrest and providing false information to law enforcement, according to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies searched the Conestee Park area for more than two hours before apprehending Latimore.

Deputies say Latimore ran into the woods following a traffic stop around 12:30 p.m. He was arrested just after 3 p.m.

“As I came down Conestee Road, there were several Greenville County patrol cars,” said Deborah Burnett, an employee at Star Builders in the industrial park off of Conestee Road.

“We did have an officer come down into the parking lot of the industrial park, and he went up toward the back of the property that backs up to Conestee lake,” she said.

Deputies say Latimore had multiple outstanding general session failure to comply warrants.

A magistrate judge denied bond on Tuesday night.

Latimore remains in the Greenville County Detention Center.
