WALHALLA, SC (WSPA) – Firefighters responded to an apparent fire at the Oconee County Law Enforcement Center, late Saturday afternoon.
A viewer photo from the scene showed smoke coming from building.
Firefighters say they were called to the scene just after 5:30pm.
When they arrived, smoke was showing from the dispatch side of the building.
The law enforcement center was evacuated and dispatchers are using the mobile command center to coordinate 911 calls.
There is no word on the cause of the fire.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
Walhalla Fire Department was assisted by Seneca, West Union, Oconee Co. Rural and Westminster Fire Departments.
