Safety check point in Spartanburg Co. on Thurs.

The Spartanburg Co. Sheriff’s Office is conducting a public safety check point in the county on Thursday Sept. 28, 2017.

They are looking for seatbelt and child restraint compliance as well as other traffic law violations.

When you are stopped you will be asked for:

Driver’s license
Vehicle registration
Proof of insurance

Deputies say the check points are part of the Highway Safety Grant in hopes of reducing traffic crashes and aggressive driving.

They hope to reduce accidents and injuries.
