Pendleton High spotlighted on HSRZ Kickoff on Daybreak

PENDLETON, SC (WSPA)–Pendleton High is taking on the Crescent High School Tigers this week. The Bulldogs are 5-2 and plan to honor first responders at tonight’s game including those who helped head coach Paul Sutherland when he had a heart attack on the sidelines in September.

According to AnMed Health, the announcer will take the audience through the steps it takes to save a life, starting with the person in the stands who gave him CPR and the staff member who ran for the AED and proceeding through the process to the cardiac intensive care unit. As the story unfolds, all of those people will walk onto the field to stand behind his wife Michelle and — possibly — Coach Sutherland.
