GREENVILLE CO., S.C. (WSPA) – A death investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in a home on Celestial Court, according to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
Deputies initially responded to the home after a neighbor called about an unresponsive woman.
When deputies arrived, they found the woman inside the home. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner’s office identified the victim as Denise Lloyd, 56, of Greenville.
This is an ongoing investigation, but no foul play is suspected.
The coroner’s office says the cause and manner of death is still pending.
When emergency responders entered the home, it appeared to have damaged by a localized interior fire, according to the coroner’s office.
