Man found shot at Greenville motel

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – Greenville County Sheriff’s Office officials confirmed one person was found shot at a local motel Friday night.

According to the GCSO’s Jason Cox, deputies responded to the Camelot Inn on Woodmeade Way in reference to a gunshot victim.

Deputies made contact with the victim, who reportedly had at least one gunshot wound, and was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening wound.

The name of the victim has not yet been released, as the shooting incident is still under investigation.

The sheriff’s office’s CID has been notified.

Cox said it is believed the incident started at the Economy Inn, located at 3905 Augusta Road.
