106 flu deaths reported in South Carolina


(WSPA) – The latest report from the Centers for Disease Control shows the number of hospitalizations continues to climb, topping the previous high set two years ago.

Doctors are estimating another 4 to 6 weeks left at a minimum for the flu season.

New numbers show that 22 more people have died from the flu in South Carolina, bringing the total up to 106.

New North Carolina numbers are expected to be released on Thursday.
