CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Authorities in the South Carolina Lowcountry are investigating two homicides that happened within 24 hours of each other.
North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor tells local media outlets that police are investigating a shooting at a night club in the city early Saturday that left one man dead. Authorities say that a fight occurred at the club about 3 a.m. and spilled over into a street where shots fired.
On Friday morning, a man was shot and killed at a barber shop in Charleston’s West Ashley suburbs. A man was seen running for the scene but eluded capture by Charleston County deputies.
The Charleston County coroner has not yet released the identity of either victim.
